Entrepreneur Open Day June 2026 — Full house at the E3 community event featuring AI, digitalisation, and SME growth sessions
It was a full house — entrepreneurs, mentors, and ecosystem builders, united by one purpose.

It was a full house. Entrepreneur Open Day June 2026 brought together a powerful community — entrepreneurs, SME owners, mentors, ecosystem builders, and business leaders — united around one purpose: to learn, connect, collaborate, and explore how AI, digitalisation, and entrepreneurship can build stronger businesses.

As the Founder of DigitalAI Business Club and E3 Power Team Director for Tech Startup & Digitalisation, this event reflected exactly the spirit I believe in: entrepreneurship today is no longer just about working harder — it is about thinking smarter, adapting faster, and building together.

A Shared Vision for the Future of Entrepreneurship

A special thank you to Prof. Andrew Wong for his inspiring keynote, “The Future of Entrepreneurship: Vision 2035.”

His message was both timely and important — and it resonated across the entire room.

“Entrepreneurs should not walk the journey alone.”

When entrepreneurs learn together, trade together, invest together, and grow together, we build stronger ecosystems, stronger businesses, and stronger communities.

This is the foundation of what E3 stands for. And it was alive in every session of the day.

A big thank you to our featured speakers who brought practical, implementation-ready insights to the room:

Kalmen Chia

Business Process Management Specialist

Helping MSMEs embrace AI through business process management, automation, and smart operating systems.

Alim Ul Karim

AI Architecture & Systems Expert

Sharing deep expertise in scalable systems, AI automation, and production-grade architecture.

Key insight from both sessions: AI is no longer a future concept. It is already reshaping how businesses operate today — and the question is no longer whether to adopt it, but where to apply it first for maximum business impact.

Real SME Stories: AI Transformation in Action

One of the most valuable sessions of the day was the SME AI Transformation Panel, where business owners openly shared how they are applying AI in real business environments — not theory, not demos, but actual operational results.

These conversations covered practical applications across:

Operations efficiency
Financial workflows
Document management
Customer service
Platform development
Sales & growth systems

Read the full case studies from our three panellists — each one a real business owner making AI work in their context:

Karen Lee — AI for Company Secretarial Work How Karen uses AI to reduce document risk and repetitive checking →
Adrian Gan — AI for SME Operations How Adrian applies AI across SME operations at MiPOS →
Vuthy Taing — AI for Business Networking Platforms How Vuthy builds faster without losing business focus →

Digital Business Growth Roundtable Clinic

Another highlight of the day was our Digital Business Growth Roundtable Clinic — where entrepreneurs sat in small groups with experienced mentors to work through real business challenges in real time.

Conversations in the clinic covered:

AI adoption strategy
Marketing & lead generation
Brand positioning
Automation systems
Digital transformation
Business growth opportunities

This was where ideas became practical. No theory, no pitch decks — just business owners and mentors working through real decisions together.

Meet Our Roundtable Mentors

We were privileged to have a strong bench of eight mentors — each bringing deep, domain-specific expertise to the roundtable sessions, spanning AI strategy, systems architecture, digital marketing, branding, CRM, and sales automation.

The Bigger Question: AI Is Not About Tools

This event was never just about learning AI tools.

It was about helping entrepreneurs ask better business questions — the ones that actually drive decisions:

  • Where are we wasting time?
  • Where are we losing opportunities?
  • Where can AI help us work smarter — not just faster?
  • What systems need to change before we automate them?
  • Who should we be collaborating with next?

The businesses that win in the next decade will not be the ones with the most tools. They will be the ones with the clearest strategy — and the discipline to apply AI where it matters most.
